Pet Portraits for a Cause - Round 2!!
We had an amazing turnout from the community this year, with over 4000 people voting for their favorite pups in our competition!!
We had so much fun raising money for the Stark Humane Society in 2023 (over $1200 during this event) that with the support of our community, we did it again and raised over $1700 this year!!!
This February I hosted the 2nd annual fundraising event to raise funds for the Stark County Humane Society by offering FUN portrait sessions for dogs throughout the month.
What better way to spread joy than a sweet pup face and a loyal friend?!

Photographing dogs requires more than just technical proficiency in photography. It requires some understanding of their behavior, their energy, and varying temperaments. With all of my sessions, I go a step beyond to make sure we get something you’ll love!
For pet portraits, I set up a phone consultation with each owner before the session to discern their stress signals, their favorite commands, and other key information so I can adapt my approach and successfully get a portrait that matches each pup's unique personality.
