Pet Portraits for a Cause
Goals. I make them every year. This year, one of my goals for 2023 was to take my time, talent, and treasure to give back to a couple of organizations that are close to my heart.
If you've seen my IG feed - @theheartsjoyphotography - you know we love our dog, Carmine 🙂 So, I decided to join forces with a group of photographers around the US and bring to Stark County a national campaign event to raise money for our local animal charity.
The Hearts Joy Photography hosted a fundraiser and offered mini portrait sessions for dogs throughout February/ March. I chose to fundraise for Stark Humane Society so they would be able to continue to bring people who want to adopt pups in our community more joy.
What better way than to spread joy than sweet a pup face and loyal friend?!
I had some amazing support from our community. We appreciate the support of our family, friends, and the many new friends we got to meet through this event!

Thank you to all those who supported this fun event. Because of you, I was able to donate $1205.12 to Stark County Humane Society in 2023.
